Everyone always seems to under estimate the power of drugstore make up. There are some AMAZING make up brands that are "unknown" and work 10x better than the $50 dollars lipsticks and eyeshadows you buy at the mall. These products are on the top of my list.

NYX - * You can get Nyx cosmetics at ulta or mostly any drugstore

Jessie's Girl - You can get there products at there website http://jessiesgirlcosmetics.com or at any rite aid.

Coastal Scents - Unfortunately, the only way you can get this brand is buy ordering it at there website http://coastalscents.com, ( they have a 88 eyeshadow pallette for $20!!!)

EOS- i use eos chapstick which works well for me, you can purchase eos at any Walgreens.

Kim Kardashian Smokey Eye

I havent been blogging for a while and i realized that people do actually read my blogs and im happy about that =]] and i seriously need to start doing more blogs but from the time i was away i have been gathering my thoughts and i discovered new make up techniques and tricks ..anyways for this post i decided to do a tutorial on how to do a kim k. smokey eye.

Foundation

- before applying foundation i always apply primer, the primer i use is Napolean Perdis Auto Pilot and i paid about $40 but you can definitely get a cheaper alternative which is still great and its the Loreal- "studio secret professional secret No.1 magic perfecting base" which is about $12.99 at ulta (btw i also purchased the napolean pilot primer from ulta, jus in case u were wondering where to get it) after you apply primer, let it set for 2 minutes and apply your foundation with your fingers or a brush

NOTE: if you apply foundation with your fingers it will set it better onto your skin but remember to wash your hands extremely well before doing so.

Kim K # 1

- theres two ways you can do the kim k. smokey eye you will achieve the same look (somewhat). before you begin apply your primer ( i used painterly paint pot from mac) but u can use whatever you want. after applying primer i used m.a.c. satin taupe which is a "mushroomy" color but you can use the revlon eyeshadow quad in - Champaigne toast $6.49 ( the very bottom color is the one you will need to apply). use the same mushroom color and apply it to your bottom lashes. then when your done use any gel liner u have, you can use H.I.P. which you can buy at walgreens or cvs, line the top of ur eyes and line your bottom lashes as well. then take a shimmery black eyeshadow (i used black tied from m.a.c.) and begin from the middle of ur eye (where the liner is) and make a line to the end of your ( think of a right triangle) so you basically need to make a right triangle on ur eye, you want it to be really thick black on the ends of ur eyes and let the intensity decrease as you go towards your inner eye. after your done, just blend, add mascara, and ur done.

-This look is a little more easier to achieve, you will need a shiny eyeshadow primer i used the urban decay primer potion in Sin which was $18.00, but you can use NYX shadesticks which cost $6.99. after your done take any cheap pencil eyeliner and line your bottom lashes as well as lining ur lids. take any smudger brush also known as a sable brush and smudge your bottom lashes and smudge the liner on your lids, make sure you smudge to the point where it looks like you have a dark shadow applied on ur eyes just below the crease of ur eye ( remeber when u smudge the top , try to extend the eyeliner up) after smudging take any copper colored eyeshadow you have ( u can even use gold) and apply it over the smudge black on ur lids, and extend the color above your lid crease, when your done take any shimmery black ( u dont have to use shimmery black, i just like how shimmery black looks) and apply it to the corners of your eye and make sure you blend very welllllllllll .
The Copper color you applied should look smokey, if it doesnt sweep on a little bit of your black eyeshadow over it . when your done add liquid liner to your top lids and mascara.

Lips

-For both of the kim k. looks i used M.A.C. - cherish and i applied a moca colored gloss over my lips but you can use Rimmel London - Dusty Rose $5.99 , you can also use rimmel london -summer angel. i did apply lip liner but it isnt necessary, if you do want to apply lip liner use a light or medium brown color liner and smudge it lightly with a q tip before applying your lipstick.

Cheeks

- For cheeks i contoured with Blunt from mac but you can even use brown eyeshadow and contour, jus be careful not to over do it. after contouring , i recommend u use a cream blush since it sets better, and blush depends on your skin color, just make sure you dont over do it with the pink, it has to look neutral since the eyes are so intense.

Hair Dye Day

Today we will be covering the basics of coloring yooo hurrrrrrrr at home...when purchasing your hair dye make sure you buy semi-permanent instead of permanent because if you buy permanent and then roots grow and, and then you color over it your gonna have a funkyyy look...sooo stick to semi-permanent. when you buy the box of hair dye they usually give you a bottle of the dye or a tube of dye so that you can mix it with the creme developer they provided. *Note: when dyeing your hair a dark color you buy a low volume developer and when you dye it platinum blonde or another bright color get a higher volume developer. ( i.e. Left is for dark hair and right is for light hair).

next, instead of mixing the ingrediants in the bottle with the creme developer mix all the items in a plastic bowl and mix it with a brush. then apply some petroleum jelly on your forehead, ears, neck, and the back of your neck so that the dye wont stick.

*Note: if you get dye on your skin you can remove buy rubbing tooth paste on it orrr you can clean the area and then apply some more dye to the stained area and wipe it clean ( i know it sounds crazy to add dye to a stained area but it will work..trust me)

Next dye your roots first, because the heat of your head will allow the dye to set really well,plus the roots are the most important part so you need to get that done first..then you can dye the rest of your hair layer by layer. once your done dying your hair comb through it with a wide comb to make sure the dye is distributed evenly.

to purchase everything from brushes, plastic container, dye (2), it will cost you about $20 totallll.

* MAKE SURE YOU WEAR GLOVES AND WEAR A OLD SHIRT YOU DONT CARE ABOUT JUST IN CASE YOUR DYE DRIPS..ALSO WHEN YOUR DONE WITH THE DYE APPLY A SHOWER CAP FOR 30 TO 45 MINUTES.

Grammmyyys!!

Its the grammmyyyyyyyyyyys tonight...i decided to do a written tutorial on how to achieve previous grammy looks from the pastt.. its musics biggesttt nighttt how fantastic is that? i hope these looks will help you out...whether you guys dress up and actually go to the grammys or you dress up sit on the couch and watch the grammys..anywaysss letss begin.

i thought the looks above were the biggest missesss of the night..or in other words they looked like grenades...it looks like prom hairr. now that you know what to stay away from lets begin the tutorial..

Kim Kardashian
In the 09 grammys kim had nice bronze cheeks with a shinyy nude lip, liner, mascara, and light eyeshadow. if you have lighter skin or olive or if you just want to have a nice glow try applying some Jergins Natural Glow lotion...then if you want to have nice bronze-y contoured cheeks use a slightly dark concealer stick and line your cheeks and rub it in...thennn apply your foundation and then apply "Covergirl trublend naturally luminous bronzer golden sunshine ($7.99)" and you can apply covergirl black eyeliner along with Covergirl Voluminous Blasting mascara in Very Black ($8.99) and just sweep some light shimmer shadow with light brown corners. as for lipstick use Maybelline Color sensational lipcolor in Nearly There ($7.49).

Rihanna

This looks pretty easyy to achieve i actually dont know if its from the grammys but i just like it...all you need is just some cover up...foundation..lid liner..bronzer ..lipstick and mascara...for bronzer i wud recommend dont go with something over the top bronze and keep it more naturall so go with Physicians Formula ($12.99)for lipstick Maybelline Pink sand ($7.49) and finally you can use any lidliner and mascara and your finitoooooooooooooo..

Carrie Underwood

For carries look apply a teal eyeshadow Sally Hanson Natural Beauty ($7.99) and sweep on some copper shadow in the corners. for blush use sally hanson Sheer cream blush ($8.99). as for lips apply some wet n wild sun glaze lipgloss ($2.49) .

Whitening

I'd like to dedicate this blog for people who want to have brighter smilesssss =]]]].

tons and tons of people go spend $500 or more just to get there teeth bleached, and the sad part is is that they have to go constantly to maintain the whiteness. Well i learned a new method to teeth whitening that is inexpensive and it works great. what you need is "Plus White Speed Whitening Gel" and you can buy it at walgreens or cvs for $5.99. Then you'll need mouth guards ( refer to pic. below) which are $1.00 at wal-mart. The whitening gel might come with a blue mouth guard, but i suggest you just buy the seperate bottle, since you cant mold the blue mouth guard to your teeth.

Note: there are different sized mouth guards, and i only found ones for just the top row of your teeth, so i decided to buy two mouth guards ( one for top row, one for bottom). for those of you who are wondering, i got the youth version mouth guards, which might be small at first but you will mold them to your teeth later on.

Then you take a bowl of boiling water and place both your mouth guards in the bowl. * Dont leave them in for more then 1o seconds or else the plastic will melt, keep them in until you feel it becoming flexible. Once you see it flexible, immediately place them on your teeth and bite down and make sure you press the guard with your fingers so the it takes the shape of your teeth. ( if you messed up the first time, you can always place it in the boiling water and re-apply the guard so that it can shape your teeth better =)).

After you have completed that step all you need to do is apply the gel to the surface of your teeth and then wear the guards for about 5- 10 minutes depending on how your teeth look.

NOTE: Dont sleep with the guards and when applying the gel make sure you apply it on your teeth using your fingers or a q tip, because the bleach will hurt your gums.

you'll see results within the first time you try it =]]

Quick tip: The color blue gives the illusion of making your teeth and eyes appear whiter. another way to whitening your teeth is by wearing lipgloss with blue undertones, you can get these lipglosses at victoria secret usually 2 for $12 . if you want to make the white part of your eye look whiter then buy the H.I.P. blue eyeliner paint pot, or any blue eyeliner/lid liner that works for you.

So i decided not to do any make up tips this week instead i want to talk about why i decided to do beauty blogs. i do them because i like giving you guys tips and tricks you all can use on a daily basis. buttt i want you guys to remember that im not giving these tricks so that you guys will think you have tons and thousands of flaws and theres a solution to everything.. even though there is a solution to everything.. all of you should be happy with what you have..and i dont give the tips to add on to the materialistic world out there. i do it so that you wont have to go to extreme measures if your not happy with yourself..theres always alternatives for everything. for example when i give tips on how to make your face slimming, i tell you so you guys wont spend money on surgeries. since we live in a materialistic world we cant help but be self conscious and i give the beauty advice just to help you guys out..remember make up is to enhance your beautiful features not cover it..anywaysss i noticed that i have been placing some pricey make up on my blogs and i decided from now on im going to post everythinggg at a bargain price..i know times are rough for everyone so im gonna list make up products that are great and absolutely affordable.. soooo what the moral of the story? you guys should feel beautiful with or without make up tips, im just posting make up advice because as much as we hate to admit it we all love to know knew tricks to make us look skinnier, younger, or tricks to make our lips look bigger, our nose smaller, out teeth whiterr, etc...soooo i thought i would post this blog purely to tell you guys thatttt everyyyyyyyyone is beautifulllll and i give you these tips because its everyday problems we run into..alsoooo i want you guys to use these tricks at a much afforable price..=]
